Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information locallyft handles, why we use it and the choices available to you.

1. About this policy

locallyft provides AI-powered local marketing tools for SEO, Google My Business, GEO and Social Presence. This Privacy Policy applies when you visit our website, create an account, connect a third-party service, use locallyft or contact our support team.

For questions or privacy requests, email hello@locallyft.app.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account details such as your name, email address, password credentials and business information.
  • Business profile data, brand preferences, prompts, content, images and instructions you add to locallyft.
  • Messages, attachments and other details sent when you request support.
  • Subscription and transaction details. Payment card information is handled by our payment provider and is not stored in full by locallyft.

Information from connected services

When you connect Google My Business, a website, analytics source or social account, we receive the information and permissions you approve. This may include business listings, reviews, performance metrics, published content, account identifiers and access tokens needed to provide the requested features.

Information collected automatically

We may collect device, browser, IP address, log, usage, diagnostic and cookie information to operate the service, remember preferences, prevent abuse and understand feature performance.

3. How we use information

  • Provide audits, recommendations, AI-generated content, scheduling and reporting.
  • Authenticate users and maintain connected integrations.
  • Process subscriptions, provide support and send service messages.
  • Protect accounts, investigate misuse and improve reliability.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
AI-assisted features

Information you submit may be processed by carefully selected AI and infrastructure providers to generate requested outputs. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your marketing task.

4. Google user data

locallyft uses Google data only to provide or improve user-facing features you request. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect Google access in locallyft or through your Google Account. Disconnecting stops new access but does not automatically delete information already stored; use our account deletion process when you want stored account data removed.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyse, support and process payments for locallyft; with connected platforms when you ask us to publish or retrieve data; during a business reorganisation; or when required to protect rights, safety or comply with law.

Providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and are expected to protect it.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Retention periods depend on the type of information, account settings, legal requirements, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and backup cycles. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

You may request deletion at any time using the steps on our Account Deletion page. Some billing, security or legal records may be retained where required or permitted by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong unique password and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to or delete personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also disconnect integrations and unsubscribe from optional marketing messages. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

9. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate protections for such transfers.

10. Children

locallyft is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.

12. Contact
